In today’s lesson, you are going to listen to a conversation between two Friends, Ibrahim and Mustapha.

A darasin yau, zaku saurari hira ne a tsakanin abokai biyu, Ibrahim da Mustapha.

Without any delay, let us listen to them attentively.

Batare da jinkiri ba, bari mu saurare su dakyau.

Ibrahim

Mustapha good morning, hope you are fine.

Mustapha barka da kwana. Da fatan kana lafiya.

Mustapha

Yeah, good morning. Yes I am fine. What about you?

Yauwa, barka da kwana. Ina lafiya ƙalau. Kaifa?

Ibrahim

I am fine too. But I suffered of tiredness.

Nima ƙalau. Saidai ina fama da gajiya.

Mustapha

Tiredness? What have you done that made you very tired?

Gajiya? Me kayi ya gajiyar dakai haka?

Ibrahim

We went round the state for campaign.

Mun zagaya jaha kyanfen ne.

Mustapha

Are you still participating the political affairs?

Har yanzu kana shiga harkokin siyasa?

Ibrahim

Yes, we are among the officials.
What about you?

Eh, muna cikin shuwagabanni. Kaifa?

Mustapha

No, I have no time to wast.

A’ a, banida lokacin ɓatawa.

Ibrahim

Is it a wasting time? Why do you think that?

Ɓata lokaci ne? Meyasa kake ganin haka?

Mustapha

This is because most of elected politicians are not going back to their words.

Saboda mafi yawan zaɓaɓɓun ƴan siyasa basa cika alƙawari.

Ibrahim

So do you want them to be repeating what they are saying?

To kana so ne su dinga maimaita abinda suke faɗa.

Mustapha

No, may be you don’t understand what I mean by “they are not going back to their words”

A’ a, ƙila baka fahinci abinda nake nufi da basa cika alƙawari ba.

Ibrahim

Yes, what do you mean?

Eh, me kake nufi.

Mustapha

If it is said that “you are not going back to your word” it means you are not a promiseable person.

Idan akace ” baka komawa zuwa kalmominka” yana nufin kai ba mutum bane mai alƙawari.

Ibrahim

Okay, I understand. But not all of them.

To, nagane. Amma ba dukkan su ba.

Mustapha

Yes, I myself I said most of them not all of them.

Eh, ni kaina cewa nayi yawaicin su bance dukkan su ba.

Ibrahim

But I think that is not a good idea to loose hope.

Amma ina ganin ba dabara bace yanke ƙauna.

Mustapha

As it is not a good idea to continue struggling without any good achievement.

Kamar yadda ba dabara bane acigaba da famar batare da wani kyakkyawan sakamako ba.

Ibrahim

That is your own opinion, and you have right to say what ever you like.

Wannan ra’syinka ne, kuma kanada damar faɗar abinda kake so.

Mustapha

Is okay that is enough. Just let us continue praying. May God direct us to the best of all the candidates.

To shiken ya isa haka. Kawai mucigaba da addu’ar Allah Ya sanya mu hanyar fiyayyen dukkan ƴan takarar.

Ibrahim
